Guest Review Small intimate inn
4 of 5 stars

We weren't sure what to expect, given the lack of recent reviews, but ended up really enjoying our two night stay here over New Year's weekend. This is an intimate five-room inn - simply but tastefully decorated with dark wood floors, white walls, and individual antique pieces, and a small common terrace upstairs for guests. There is an excellent cafe - Cafe d'Laos - downstairs which serves meals and the best coffee we had in the town. Breakfast was provided at the 'parent' hotel - the Burasari Heritage - which was a 2 minute walk away, and which was a huge bonus as it allowed you to dine on their stunning riverside terrace. The location was excellent - quite near the tip of the peninsula and surrounded by excellent dining options, but a bit quieter than the main shopping drag. On our departure, we booked airport transfers and were driven in their beautiful 1960 Mercedes - it was a memorable departure - and at $15 was excellent value considering a shared airport taxi is $7 per person.
